1.The sound is bright but noisy----Repair the reflector

2.The sound is too bright but clean----lower the front reflector a little bit
You can have done experiments, install the flute head with the whistle piece, suck the "butt" of the tail of the flute head with your mouth, and suck vigorously. There is an amazing discovery: the vibration range of the whistle piece is not the entire front end, but the two arc angles of the front end. The faster the vibration, the louder the sound. If the sound is too bright, lower the front end reflector and reduce the front end vibration frequency of the whistle piece, which can improve the sound of the flute head is too bright.
3.It's difficult to convert high and low tones----the mouth wind is a bit bigger
If the mouth is small, the amplitude of the whistle is limited, and the buffer for high and low sound conversion is not enough. Just like driving, it is difficult to make small sharp turns in places, and easy to make big sharp turns in places.Method: Use fine sandpaper, clamp the body of the flute with your thumb and middle finger, and hold the front mouth of the flute head with your index finger. Feel that the two rails are evenly pressed on the sandpaper and rub slowly according to the arc of the original mouth wind. Try a few more times, otherwise, if you grind too much at a time, it will take a long time to adapt.Don't grind it close to the base of the reed, otherwise the reed will be uneven and the whole tone will change again.
4.The volume is low.Thin----expand the inner chamber
The most direct way to expand the resonance box of the flute head is to sharpen the popular Deep-V chamber. You can boldly modify the inner chamber of the flute head. The use of eighteen martial arts and the use of seventy-two weapons will not affect the tone, as long as it does not hurt the flute head guide rail and the leading edge.
5.The sound is not moist----grind down the entire reflector
Grind the horizontal mirror surface of the entire reflective plate low. The higher the reflective plate, the brighter it is, and the lower it is, the more moist it is, but the lower it is, it is darker, so to achieve a good balance, you have to blow more and try more.
In general, the front end of the reflector must be flat, but the rear end is not necessarily, because some have bullet bore, some have "groove bore", and some have "cliff" bore. When modifying the flute head guide rail, the leading edge must not be accidentally filed.
